Hello everyone. I am Haruka Tokunaga.
I supposed to go to Australia to study, but I could not because of COVID-19. Therefore, I am taking V-HSP program(Virtual high school preparation). Let me introduce the class.
The school starts from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Japan time. There are 4 class and it has names of Ausie animals such as Koala or Possum. Almost students come from Asian countries. The lesson is hold on Microsoft Teams. Teachers show their screen to the students and sometimes we have conversations.
Next, I am going to talk about subjects of the lesson. We learn Maths, Science, Integrated Learning, Writing, Literature and HASS.
This term we studying about Physics in Science, also we learned Maths in English.
HASS is stands for Humanities And Social Science. Students search their interesting topic and had a presentation.
Integrated Learning is not determined what we learn. This term we learn about driverless cars in IL lesson.
In literature, we read a book about indigenous people in Australia. We wrote sentences that described one character of the story.
Writing is literally study about writing skill. The teacher gave us topics.
Online school is not so easy because I have to submit a lot of homework in a day. However I made friends and we have an online chat. I had a good time. I want to grow up as a good English speaker.
