Hello, everyone！
I’m Yui Akai.
There are many difference between Japanese school and Australia school.
I surprised the time to eat lunch at first.
We have two break time in a day.
1st break is from 10:55 am to 11:25 am.
2nd break is from 1:10 pm to 1:40 pm.
We usually eat lunch in 1st break.
It’s so earlier then Japanese school.
And, we eat lunch outside of the classroom.
Our school has a large area and there are many place to eat.
The building of classroom is divided for each subject, and the staff room is also in each building.
On this month, there were interesting evacuation drill.
I had experienced evacuation drill for earthquake and fire in Japan.
We did evacuation drill for fire and invade of suspicious person.
When suspicious person invaded in our school, we have to lock the door of classroom, turn off the light and hide for not to be seen from outside the window.
This evacuation drill is called “Lockdown.”
In Japan, it is a season that there are various events such as cultural festival and sports day now.
The school events in Australia are not as big as than Japanese one.
But, there similar one in Australian school too.
We had Market Day and Sports Day.
On Market Day, there were some small shops of drinks and food in a garden next to the library.
On Sports Day, students was doing race, playing game of soccer and dancing with music.
In Australia there is food that are definitely sold on such event days.
It is ‘Sausage Sizzle’ that put sausage, onion and sauce on bread.
Some primary school have more bigger event.
I went school fete at my host sister and brother’s school.
There were many small shops of food, drink, and game.
There were also some attraction.
